Dear Astronomers,

Here on the edge of the Kalahari Desert the air is very clear and dry,

Which translates to very little clouds if at all, and very little pollution. The SQM (sky quality meter) often shows quality ranging from 21.7 to 22 out of a possible 22. The Milky Way often is so bright that it casts a shadow.

If you really want to experience the Southern Stars in all their glory, then this is the place be.

Happy Hunting
